Project is the cutting edge of development. Where are projects, there are investment. So, project formulation and implementation is very important for development and poverty alleviation.
Every officer should have to know how the project is formulated and implemented. This would be a unique book in terms of project related issues and this is our first enthusiastic effort to cover an important area of development as there is no such comprehensive book on this subject. In this book, different aspects of project management like project identification, appraisal, preparation, approval, implementation, monitoring-controlling and evaluation are thoroughly and elaborately discussed; one will be able to conceive the text easily and grasp the idea about the projects.
It has been evidenced that project implementation is still lag behind in terms of time, cost and performance. We have tried to enlighten the necessary information of the different phases of the project including tips and techniques to overcome the constraints and the readers will be benefited to a great extent.
